Pleione is a hardy orchid down to -5 C degrees.
It has big psudobulbs which are dormant in the winter. Will produce the flowers first early spring followed by a single leaf on each pseudobulb. The flowers' colour are between pale pink to dark pink.
Needs lots of drainage, semi-shade, best being kept in a shallow pot to avoid getting water logged.
Comes in 9 cm pot pot 2-3 psudobulbs
